Q1-I do not reside in Selangor, how do I purchase my motor insurance from IEM?
A-JPJ has replaced the hard copy cover note with E-cover note therefore if you complete the Motor Proposal form the details, IEM can issue and fax over to you once JPJ has accepted your E-cover note. You then can renew your road tax from any Post Office which has the on-line facitlites with JPJ or at JPJ office.

Q2-How do I make my payment?
A-Just sign a Direct Debit Authorization letter (will be sent to you by our Insurance Officer) with your credit card number ONLY, you should not review your 4 digit at the back of your card, the Insurance office would swipe the amount.

Q3-What should I do when I have a minor breakdown of my vehicle, is there a cover for this?
A-If your insurance policy is a comprehensive coverage (meaning not a third party cover), then the insurer provides you a contact number which you can call 24x7x365, wait and help will be on the way.

Q4-What if it is an accident?
A-Call the same number and wait for advise from the person who will arrive at the accident site.
